"Sem Maquiagem" follows five women in law enforcement: a police chief, a violent crime forensic examiner, an explosives forensic examiner, a ballistics forensic examiner, and a police officer. The 70-minute documentary follows real criminal cases from the moment they are called to a crime scene, through forensic laboratory analysis and the investigation, to the resolution of each case. Beyond the investigations, viewers gain an intimate look at the protagonists' personal lives and the challenges of balancing family and relationships with such a demanding and emotionally taxing profession.
